The area they were operating heavy machinery in was located directly in between the main car park and the ferry terminal, which means general public. The scene had confusing safety barriers placed at random, with no clear walkway for the general public. The thought behind public safety hear seems average at best. I witnessed a confused member of the public make his way across the car park to his vehicle, and one of your team member, a younger man with a spade, start to scream at the member of public. “I’ll smoke you with a digger next time!” Were the specific words I heard among other profanities. I think that if you’re going to pitch and take on a project in a major tourism spot with general public pathways in question you need to firstly have a clearly marked alternate route available. You will also need to think about the team you hire and the brand image they are presenting. What witnessed today from your team was disgusting.
