EasyBuild Homes

I built an EasyBuild home on my section in Lower Hutt as a DIY project and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The kit arrived on time, everything fitted together well, and the instructions were solid. I liked that I could do a lot myself but still knew the support office was there if I needed a hand. For me it was about getting a good, warm, solid home without all the mucking around of a full custom build, and EasyBuild delivered. The house went up quick, feels sturdy, and looks great. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to roll up their sleeves and have a go at building their own place. Since that build, I’ve helped out on a couple of other EasyBuild DIYs and they’ve all gone up super smooth too.

I used EasyBuild to construct the homes on my property in Otāki and I’m wonderfully pleased with how they turned out. The company have a great staff, very easy to talk to and confident about the breadth of knowledge they have. I found them trustworthy and highly capable. I have no plans to build again now that the dream home has been finished but I would choose EasyBuild again if I did!

A fantastic team and organisation - providing a quality product and outstanding service. They also walk the talk in their giving back and support of community, including most recently partnering Barnardos Aotearoa to provide and support the build of a Whare (house) for some of our most vulnerable young people and their families. Rawe. (awesome).

EasyBuild is the worst building company in NZ. Avoid them or your expectations of a beautiful brand new home will be shattered. Your costs will balloon and you’ll be left with a very average, poorly finished box of a house. If they ever finish it. They use the cheapest contractors possible resulting in shoddy workmanship and a terrible finish. EasyBuild over promise, under deliver and they will let you down. Please take my advice and use another building company, literally anyone else.

We live in an Easy Build home and we LOVE IT! House is always warm throughout the whole year, has loads of natural light and has amazing flow with plenty of space. Highly recommend!
