⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely poor workmanship, job abandonment, and outrageous overcharging We engaged Fast n Fixed for a simple shower replacement quoted at $799. What followed was one of the most stressful and unprofessional experiences we’ve ever had with a contractor. They stripped out the existing shower but failed to complete the job, ignored clearly documented scope requirements, cut corners on critical work, and ultimately abandoned the site with the shower unusable just as tenants were due to return. We were forced to hire an emergency plumber and other trades at our own cost to make the bathroom functional and safe. Key issues: • Substandard workmanship (poor liner installation, leaking vanity, badly done painting) • Failure to replace rotten subfloor despite it being in scope • No plumber arranged for a job that clearly required one • Walked away at a critical deadline • Then attempted to invoice nearly FOUR TIMES the agreed price for work that was incomplete or not done at all • Charged separately for items that should be included in a standard shower replacement We paid the agreed quote, yet still had to spend over $1,400 fixing their mistakes and omissions. The inflated invoices that followed were unjustifiable and are now subject to a formal dispute. This experience caused unnecessary stress, cost, and disruption. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Fast n Fixed and strongly advise others to get everything in writing and be very cautious before engaging them.

DANGEROUSLY INCOMPETENT - AVOID AT ALL COSTS - WRITING THIS REVIEW AFTER THE DISPUTES TRIBUNAL RULED AGAINST THEM. Hiring Fast N Fixed NZ was a complete disaster. We needed urgent help after a burglary and were met with nothing but incompetence, lies, and stress. In the short time they were on the job, they managed to: - Install a security deadlock BACKWARDS, with the screws on the outside, making it completely useless. Anyone could unlock that door with a pesky little screwdriver. - Drill the doorknob hole incorrectly(leaving gaps behind the doorknob) and hang the door crookedly. - Repeatedly fail to show up, including on a day I took 3 hours off work to meet them. - Lie about ordering parts for the job. - Communicate so poorly that our calls were ignored, and we were told to text instead, while they did no shows. When we rightfully fired them for this circus of failures, they tried to intimidate us with an absurd invoice for $3218.85!! FOR ONE BASIC GREEN BUNNINGS DOOR, that they installed incorrectly. and then threatened debt collectors! We took them to the tribunal, and the outcome says it all: The ruling was 100% in our favour. We were asked not to pay a cent and they had to come collect the door. Even then, they collected the door 1 week after deadline. Absolutely hopeless. This company is not just unprofessional; their work is a dangerous liability. Do not trust them with your security or your money. I couldn't help feeling like I was being scammed, I'm so glad that the dispute tribunal saw through their shenanigans.

Fast and Fixed were very quick to respond to my request for an electrical services. A very knowledgeable electrician visited my home and quickly fixed the issue. I had previously used Fast and Fixed for the first time to fix hinges on my kitchen cabinet doors and they had done a great job. I am very impressed and satisfied with Fast and Fixed service and plan to use them for all my future handymen requirements.

Worst builders ive ever dealt with... wouldn't go near them with a 10ft pole.
