Generations Homes has excellent customer service. I had wonderful experience with them. Vynka of course is very professional and never hesitates to assist you in any way possible to see that you get your home ready with in time frame. Coming from Fiji , I did not have any knowledge about how it works to build a new home in New Zealand. Generations Homes assisted me right from the beginning. They had promised me to complete within 4 months at a fixed price. They fulfilled their promise with excellent workmanship. Highly recommend to go with Generation Homes.

Terrible Company to deal with. Makes alot of mistakes & takes no responsibility for them. Makes alot promises and doesn't keep to them. Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. 0 out of 10 for customer service. They then wonder why they're not getting business. Any onto it person would understand why.

Really terrible experience. We invested in a build with Generation Homes incl paying our deposit. Months and months of time of discussions, delays, false promises, finally landed on a price. Three months later we went back and had an updated price with a few small additions and they jacked up the quote by 130k (additions were to about 15-20k value). When we then backed out we werent offered a partial refund or justification on how our deposit was used, until we chased it up ourselves. In fact when first raised the salesperson acted as if the deposit was all used up. Which wasnt the case at all. Really cant recommend. Their sales process is awful and deceptive. Went with another local company and had a larger plan with lots of trimmings for 50k less to contract in a fraction of the time. Lesson learnt.

This was my first new build, and I’ll admit—it was a big investment. I chose Generation Homes largely because of Vynka; she was fantastic from day one, offering helpful ideas and guidance that put me at ease, especially as someone with no DIY experience. There were a few small hiccups along the way (to be expected with any build), but the team’s prompt communication and problem-solving were outstanding. They kept me informed and confident throughout the entire process. I’m really impressed with the quality of the work and how efficiently the team moved. Overall, a great experience! If I ever build again, I’d definitely choose Generation Homes Northland.
