Recently had an issue with a component on one of my logging trucks, managed to get a hold of Jacob after hours (as it was a weekend) who came out in his own time to look at the job and give me advice on what to do, going forward he gave me 2 options, one being the work Gisborne engineering could do to resolve the matter, and the second option was to contact the manufacturer as it could be covered under warranty work. We have resolved the matter and unfortunately didn’t need to use Gisborne engineering but really appreciate the time and knowledge of Jacob helping out!
Jacob is a top notch engineer! He recieves 5 stars for his stellar workmanship he has done for us over the years. As a trucking business we have had quite a few jobs done by Jacob and the quality of his work has exceeded all our expectations. He has great attention to detail, knowledgeable and takes pride in his work. Great to get along with, easy to deal with and is great laugh as well as keeping it professional. I would highly recommend Jacob to anyone looking for a quality engineer.
To who this may concern, I am writing to let the manager of Gisborne Engineering know how grateful I am about one of his staff members by the name of Lavelle. I have been in many a time to purchase either steel or even getting little jobs done and this young man has always been pleasant, seems to know where to advice on what’s needed. Stone transport. We have recently returned to Gisborne engineering to get our gear worked on, have been dealing with jacob for most of our jobs, including booking them in. he’s easy going, keeps you in the loop with progress and lets you know if there is any issues, highly recommend Jacob and the team at Gisborne engineering
