One of their trucks almost run me off the road … had a bout of road rage because he didn’t want to give way to a bike. Left a message with the “manager” no reply… figures I guess .
After a 1 hour wait around the Thames coast while the cliff face was 'washed', then a 3 hour drive to Waihi and back, arriving at the coast roadblock BEFORE the 5.30pm closure, we were refused access to Coromandel because Higgins workers had already left - EARLY!! This resulted in an extra 4 hour drive during a storm just to get home. To close the ONLY access road to Coromandel from Thames at this hour on a Friday evening is not only ridiculous and highly dangerous but DISGUSTING behavior on Higgins part.
Higgins have failed to deliver the job they promised and after we made it clear that we were not happy with the failure to lay the entire driveway they made an ugly repair that we asked than not to do. Quite frankly Higgins has made the job experience difficult and will make your job experience difficult too. They have poor business morals saying “it would cost us to much to do a repair “ this is a poor business model because it would be expected that if you make a mistake you should fix it Would not recommend.
