Trevor Salisbury , and his esteemed technical builders and team were fantastic, Dave and I asked Trevor to build us a large country style property which had been architectually designed locally here in the Wairarapa and he came highly personally recommended. The build won the Gold Award for Country Home of the Year in 2022 for over $2 Million with MBA for Wellington/Wairarapa Awards. Attention to detail both Inside/Outside was fastitious ,but oh so worth it and such a comfortable home to live in, entertain , it is really a lodge with intricate hidden aspects to delight you with. Well done Trevor Salisbury and your wonderful team, you deserve accolades. The home was also built on time and 14months from start to finish ,we moved in December 2020 and within budget
What a rubbish company told me they could do a job for $30.000 after several weeks of mucking me around saying they were sorting quotes I finally got a start date from them.... I called them just before they were due to start work and Steve told me he had the flue! Not too sure why he never contacted me. I then received a hand delivered contract through my letter box a few days later (obviously couldn't be bothered to knock on my door as I would of questioned the quote) I opened the quote to see a quote for $45.000 and no break down of charge's. This is so annoying they have not only wasted a lot of my time but have caused my family a lot of stress as they put through an unrealistic price knowing full well that I would reject there quote. If they didn't want to do the work then why o why didn't they just tell me so I could of contacted another builder? Complete waste of time, be very weary if your going with this company.
Houseworx have recently completed a major addition to our cottage and we are thrilled with the result! Trevor and Steve were great to work with as they were always upfront about any delays and did their utmost to produce what we wanted in spite of inevitable delays when some materials were just not available. Their designer and builders are excellent and we feel we now have a solid and beautiful house. Thanks! Margaret and Geoffrey Palmer
