Keith Hay Homes - Whangarei

My husband and I would give our experience with Keith Hay Whangarei 5 stars. It was our first time purchasing a premade house and Scott and Lauren made the process so seamless and clear and were just lovely to work with. Of course there are factors that is beyond anyones control in these situations, but we were lucky it all came together for us and we were kept informed all along the way. Special mention to Lauren who was brilliant in helping us deal with council, and took away the stress we had with some of the paper work. No hesitation whatsoever reccomending KH Whangarei to anyone....oh and the house is awesome :-) Andre and Sandra McDonald

We had a great experience with Keith Hay Homes Whangarei branch. Lauren and Scott are super organized and helpful. They are efficient and practical in their solutions and helped us build the perfect rental house. We would not hesitate to recommend or use them again.

The two main people we wanted to thank from KHH were Lauren Renney and Scott Bushman and want to commend them both for their professionalism and kindness. Lauren Renney was our first point of contact with KHH. She was a great listener and really gave us (particularly my wife Salina) confidence that she understood what we were trying to do and our values and priorities. She very helpful and open and pretty much why we decided to go with KHH! We had many factors to weigh up and tradeoffs to consider - first we live in Wellington, second the build was relatively remote - Opononi in Far North, fourth we wanted to take full advantage of an amazing view, fifth we needed a family home to house a family of 7, sixth the build was on a steep slope, seventh we needed to stay within budget. Lauren was great in the planning phase, easy to talk to and able to see and suggest options which could enhance the build and very clear with her communications especially around the process and costing of the build. We had come to the build with some preconceived notions and requirements, and there was great deal of flexibility in the KHH pre-approved house plans which were able to cater with all of them. Scott took on the building process and managed it for us and did a great job. The process was complicated by geography and so there was a lot of trust involved from our side. As always there were unexpected twists and turns on the journey and Scott was very good at keeping us informed but we felt that he was also a great advocate in considering our additional costs. He was very upfront about that side and thinking about options for solving particular issues as they arose. The quality control for the final product was excellent - thank you Scott! Some highlights included seeing pictures of the house being trucked into Opononi from Whangarei, and videos of the house being lifted by crane onto the foundations. We've had a great experience working with KHH through Lauren and Scott, they have excellent values and culture and we are extremely pleased with the service. This is a letter of appreciation in regards to our recent involvement with Keith Hay Homes in particular Paul Tree and Hamish Blampied of the Warkworth branch. The overall treatment: given to my family and I has been nothing short of spectacular, from start till finish Paul and Hamish have been professional and caring in every single matter. My Family and I looked at many other housing companies before walking into Keith Hay Homes and to be honest Paul and Hamish were the only representatives that felt genuine on our arrival and pursued the sale. No other company phoned us back up to check how our house hunting was going and gently reminded us that they were here to help if needed. We are first time homebuyers and this has been one of the most stressful periods in our life. However, at lot of the stress was elevated through the assistance and guidance by Paul and Hamish. They helped us customise our house to suit our family needs, gave us a competitive price and suggested ways in which we could reduce costs. We could not ask for anything more. We will be recommending Keith Hay Homes to all our friends and family because of Paul and Hamish.
