Latitude Homes - Otago/Southland

We have recently finished building with Kurt and Jess from Latitude in the South Island. To say we have been impressed is an understatement. We have been blown away by their patience, attention to detail and consideration for our family and this whole experience for us. Manu the project manager has been incredible and all the contractors on time and professional. From the signing of the contract with a bottle of bubbles and a ‘how to build a house’ book for the kids to fortnightly progress updates with photos and then finally the most amazing gift basket on key handover. We have come in under budget and into our home two weeks early. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making this such an enjoyable experience and creating a beautiful new family home for us. This is our fifth time building, and Latitude homes made the experience very easy, from design through to construction, Kurt and his team go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. A special mention to Dan, an excellent project manager! We moved in on the date given to us at the start and on budget! Thanks team!

Oh yea, they put substandard plumbing in also. This has caused a flood in the home. The drain cannot handle the water coming from the tap and overflows. Even when trying to wash your hands!! Everything is done at the lowest, cheapest possible level. This is only a fraction of our issues with this build. Forgot to mention they put the foundation down the wrong way around to begin with!! And then wanted to argue about it.... Treated my parents and family with utter disrespect. After 4 MONTHS of having nobody turn up on site, my father had finally had enough. Rang the nasty Kurt, and gave him a Rev up about it. Had a Stroke the next morning due to all the stress. Then another one not long after that. Absolutely no respect whatsoever. Absolutely disgusted . You Kurt, caused my father to have these Strokes and I will NEVER forgive you. You are a horrible, greedy, nasty man. And now demanding removal of this review. It certainly is NOT false OR Malicious. It is Genuine in that this is how His treatment has left us feeling. No ability to work with personal grievance in a manner that is without threats not to be pissed off with Him. You have awful skills when it comes to conflict resolution

We looked at a few options for our new build, but after meeting with Tony, Pauline and Dan we decided to build with Latitude. We have absolutely no regrets in this decision, the design and layout of the house was exactly what we were after. The finished product has exceeded expectations and we have had a lot of comments on how well the house works and flows for the size of the place. All the Contractors used on the build were brilliant, nothing was an issue to get sorted and finished. All of Kurt's team were thoroughly professional and great to work with. The Latitude build came in on budget and time. We are very pleased with the finished product. Many thanks to Kurt and his team.

We recently moved into our wonderful new home that Latitude Dunedin built for us. Kurt, Amanda, Pauline and Dan were so welcoming and made us feel like family right from the start. Kurt was quick to answer any questions we had, and implemented any changes we made (and there were lots) All the trades that they use were professional and fast and were happy to explain things to me when my nontradie brain couldn't understand why I couldn't have something the way I wanted it lol. Have already recommended them to an acquaintance of ours. Looking forward to enjoying many many years here.
