We had such a great experience with Make Furniture. The team was amazing to work with—so helpful with creative ideas to work around our needs and make everything practical as well as beautiful. The finish is absolutely stunning, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. We’re already looking forward to working with them again!

I cannot praise Will, Claire and the team at MAKE enough, I wanted a kitchen with impact, with a few little quirky things and I obviously changed my mind about the odd thing right at the last minute - nothing was too much trouble. The team were true to their word, they arrived on time, they left things tidy during the fit-out, they liaised with the builders', and I have a stunning kitchen that has been perfectly fitted around our wonky old walls in our 1930's home with our re-used bench tops and an earthquake casualty mantlepiece turned into floating shelves. MAKE Furniture are extraordinary. Great people, sharp, innovative design and excellent quality with a relaxed vibe. Totally professional and reliable. We had severe time constraints and they not only rose to the challenge but exceeded our expectations. Their aesthetic suited our new bach beautifully and what started with kitchen design extended to bathroom vanities/storage, bedroom wardrobe/furniture, living room bookcases/entertainment unit and laundry cabinets. Needless to say, we are delighted to have chosen MAKE and I recommend them without hesitation.

It is a rare find to come across a company that tick all the boxes … but MAKE Furniture do. It is clear our built-in bookshelves, dividing wall, study desk, and kitchen have all been built with pride. They are made with a meticulous attention to detail, are all perfectly designed for functionality, they are all crafted using quality products, and …… they are all beautiful. The whole process was an exciting journey made a pure delight by dealing with a friendly team who communicate readily, treat each new project with enthusiasm, have fantastic ideas, and care. So trusted are MAKE Furniture, there was no doubt we ask them to build our new wardrobe extension …. we can’t wait!

So good to have our MAKE kitchen and laundry installed. The team, together with our builders Black Robin, have transformed our home. We’ve gone from an outdated and ineffective single room that included the laundry to more of a cook’s kitchen and separate laundry (which also provides storage and serves as a bit of a butler’s pantry). Both spaces are great to work in and complement each other. THE MAKE team made the process very easy – they brought their own great ideas and were also very open to ours, making it a collaborative experience. The distance between us – them in Nelson and us in Wellington – did not cause us any issues. Everything was done over email or by phone. It was also great to have joiners Sven and Craig build and then install the kitchen. Their attention to detail was impressive. Thanks MAKE, excellent job done.
