PlaceMakers Porirua

Yeah, awesome. A good forklift driver. A driver who understands the importance of a truck driver. Unloaded back out on the road. A good experience every visit.

First time I have shopped at Placemakers and what a breath of fresh air compared to the utterly hopeless other large format building supply retailers in Porirua. The staff at Placemakers actually know what they are talking about, they are organized, helpful and offer customer service willingly - instead of trying to avoid customers which is what you get from staff at M10 and Bunnings. The drive through actually has room for vehicles - another improvement on the other two hopeless outfits. Placemakers is where I will be spending my DIY shopping in the future. Wish I had gone there years ago.

Never been there, rang up this morning and was met with extremely bad telephone manner, follow by savage abusive aggression when I rang to lay a complaint, which I have every right to do and when I asked to speak with the manager, I was hung up on, this guy had no problem savagely abusing a lady. I record all my incoming and out going calls and this call is now on YouTube. Neither myself or any of my family will go to this store, for our own protection from this vile violent abusive individual.

Popped in for some materials that no one else had in stock, the branch manager John served me! Awesome guy, awesome drive in yard, just a great experience.

The computer charged me for a 5000 packet of staples I bought a 500 staple packet. The staff, however, is very friendly and helpful.
