Dealing with Platinum Homes in Wellington. Went with them after a friend was recommended for a subdivision and build. In the beginning the salesman Tony was really positive - however could not deliver. They increased build price by over 100k before it even started. Paid initial 25k deposit and have been asking them for some money back as not even a brick was laid on the ground - they are refusing to even provide a breakdown so next step will be courts. Do not deal with these guys - they are good at talking but not delivery - they will under quote and then hit you with a huge bill and then you can't complete the build.

I will suggest not to go with platinum homes. We started with them and have paid initial deposit. Due to increased costs of approx more than 100 k , I decided not to go with them and they have stopped replying to our emails and looks like does not want to return our money. Please don't go with them. I would have given them zero rating unfortunately there is no other option.
