I first contacted Hayden from Shaw Contracting Services on Monday 24th Nov 2025 about a small project at my property—levelling a section and boring holes for foundation piles and retaining walls. Hayden promptly phoned me back, was professional, friendly and very easy to deal with. He quickly provided a clear, itemised quote. By Thursday of the same week, the job was scheduled. Hunter and his assistant arrived on site at 7am with the digger. They were hardworking, polite, professional, and did an excellent job. They even managed to fit in digging a trench for services while the digger was on site, which was not included in the quote and a huge help. In summary, I was extremely impressed with the crew at SCS—their skill, professionalism, and efficiency stood out. The quote provided was also very competitive. Recently had a timber retaining wall and concrete car parking pad built by Hayden and the team at SCS. They did a fantastic job from start to finish, including managing all the consents and plans required. Hayden is the epitome of professional. Excellent communication at every stage of the project. The high quality of the project is testament to the great team he has built, and the site was always left in a tidy condition at the end of each day. Customer service was excellent, including the follow-up after the build was finished. I would have no hesitation in recommending the services of SCS.
