Smith & Sons Renovations & Extensions - Hauraki

We're glad we chose Smith & Sons to re-roof our deck. They provided outstanding service from start to finish. They stuck to budget, and went above and beyond to achieve the best result. They were organised, punctual, efficient, and communication was excellent throughout. They also coordinated all other contractors, making the process seamless, even meeting our tight timelines. We’d absolutely use them again and highly recommend them.

The professional team at Smith and Sons Hauraki really delivered. Over what was a long process (due to consenting) they communicated well to meet timeframes and always turned up when they said they would with a smile and a can-do attitude. The photos show the scope of work including house foundations, retaining walls, stairs, concrete path, deck and a pergola. We inevitably came up against issues, and we were always provided options and timely costing advice so we could make it how we wanted with the budget we had. We are super happy with the quality of work and will be booking in a bathroom renovation next. Cheers guys!

Hi we had Michael and Ricky working for us completing small jobs around the home. Both were very punctual and Ricky's work ethics were exceptional. His workmanship was excellent and follow up tradespeople commented on how his work had made their job easier. Michael listened carefully as to what we wanted in renovations and worked with us to the smallest detail. He was honest and refunded on a fixed quote where some things had changed at our request. He followed up in person and ensured that we were happy with all aspects of his companies work.

Michael and Ricky were amazing from start to end on this job. Communication is outstanding and Michael's project management is second to none. Site was left spotless at the end of each day and made safe as we have 2 young kids. As most jobs requiring consent do, we hit some hurdles with council but Michael managed it all unphased and kept us properly updated all the way. Genuinely cant recommend these guys enough 🤩 For ref: we had a massive second storey balcony built, exterior stairs and removal of a very tricky load bearing wall.

I highly recommend Michael. He was super efficient, his budget was bang on, even though it was a renovation and we didn't know what was going to be behind the walls of an old house. And he was incredibly honest, even refunding me on wood that wasn't needed. He turned up when he said he would, and he organised the other tradies to do the same. He was so calm and took changes in his stride. He's fabulous. You won't be disappointed.
