Wrightway Construction Auckland

Wrightway Construction completed the reinstatement work on our home after flood damage and we are very pleased with the result. The work was done quickly and efficiently, with excellent communication between us and the project team.

Wrightway Construction is highly recommended especially if you were like us, a flood impacted customer. They were absolutely caring about the impacts, responsive at the times when contacted and more importantly professional in all their approaches across both the initial soft strip works and then finally the rebuild works. Sean Reid himself deserves a call out for the many times he stepped in to answer a question or check on the works progress and to assure us that the quality of their work would of the highest standard. We are extremely pleased with the rebuild works that have now been completed in time, to budget and with the least amount of changes to our plans. Good work Sean and team.

The team at Wrightway Construction was amazing, Sean managed the team fixing of our house after the floods with care and compassion. We were going through a lot at that time in our family and the team were very considerate and worked very hard to ensure there was no disruption when it was needed. I will be forever grateful for the team getting our house back on track through such a devastating time for us. Thanks, guys, you rock!

Engaged Wrightway for flood remediation and private works. The works were completed a month late (March 2024). We had asked for final invoices upon completion. We have only just received the final invoice now (October 2024) which is inaccurate and does not reflect the contracted price. Communication has been terrible the entire way through with non-replies to emails, and phone calls. Cannot and will not recommend Wrightway for anything other than testing out the strength of your pain medication.

They only get one star as no option for zero stars. Used for flood repairs. The work was poor quality and needed redoing many times. Communication was poor. Contractors were arrogant including the owner Mr Wrightway. The work had to be redone and completed by another company and the contrast couldn't have been greater with good communication and quality work. When issues were raised we were made to feel in the wrong. Dealing with them was more stressful than flooding. No compassion for our situation. Original project manager was great, then after few weeks went back to chch. No one told us. Then several changes in contractors, no one told us . One day I walked out of our lounge to find 2 men I didn't know walking around upstairs in the bedroom hallway,looking for me apparently, the repairs were all in a separate area downstairs,they hadn't knocked or introduced themselves. Apparently was the new foreman! Another time one of the contractors walked in on my daughter changing. Learn to knock guys!Took 2 years to do something they said 6 months. Only use them if you need a lot of extra stress in your life.
