YC Homes are extremely unprofessional and rude. We have had to consistently follow up with them to try get anything done. After 4 years remedials are still not complete. Whenever we have managed to complete one thing on the remedial list, they ignore the others and constantly talk over us when we have tried to talk about them. YC Homes new method is to ignore and avoid issues. YC Homes are cowboys and refuse to follow the laws that are in place to protect consumers, even when informed about these laws they ignore them, meaning the law is wrong and they are right. Go with YC if you like poor quality workmanship and if you enjoy dealing with people who don’t want to follow their legal obligations.

House is great. Prices are good. Im coming towards the end of my.one year warranty and they have fixed all the little issues that come with new homes in no time. Very easy to contact them and they respond rapidly..highly recomend this company for homes

From the preconstruction stage, through the process of obtaining building and resource consents, to the actual construction phase, YC Homes demonstrated exceptional professionalism and skill. As someone with a construction management background of over 35 years and a structural engineering qualification, along with a daughter who is an architect, we were certainly not easy clients to please. We challenged YC Homes at every stage and on every task, expecting nothing but the highest standards. I must say, they handled it all with grace and delivered exceptional results. In particular, the project manager, Jason Yu, was outstanding. He was always professional, responsive, and incredibly understanding, even when we were demanding. His ability to manage the project with such composure and attention to detail made a real difference. We were tough on him at times, but he always handled our concerns with patience and professionalism, which made the whole process much smoother. The final result is exactly what we envisioned—a beautiful, high-quality home that is built to last. The finishes and execution were exceptional, and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. YC Homes truly met and even exceeded our expectations. Given the quality of the work, the professionalism of the team, and their ability to navigate challenges with ease, I have no hesitation in recommending YC Homes. I have recently bought a sweet family home from YC Homes at Milldale, and I'm very happy, satisfied and confident about my purchase.
