We needed a trustworthy building company to help design and renovate our family home on Waiheke Island, Auckland. Hamid and the crew from Your Builder were precisely that. They came highly recommended by our architect and a family friend who had worked with them before, and now I can see why! The quality of their work was outstanding, and the team genuinely cared about achieving the best result for us, always looking out for our best interests. The build took about 3-4 weeks longer than planned, but it was absolutely worth the wait. We couldn’t be happier with the result and highly recommend Your Builder to anyone looking for a quality, trustworthy team. I also loved the project management portal — being able to access our financials, plans, and photos, and approve any variations online was absolutely brilliant. Hamid and his crew have been awesome throughout the whole renovation/extension process(from design, execution to Council Concent). We enclosed a carpart and converted into a garage, replaced old bricks at the back with pavers, replaced the interior flooring from tiles to timber and whole lot of drainage work to prevent future floodings. Hamid and the team at Your builder completed a major renovation at our apartment in Devon Park. We are very impressed with the quality of work performed, all within budget agreed on prior to commencement. Marian oversaw the project and delt with all communication with council, resulting in full Council Code of Compliance Certification on completion of the project. James managed a thoroughly professional team throughout and ensured all work was completed to the highest standard. We have engaged Your Builder for multiple projects around our home over the last four years. Everything from minor repairs after a storm, to a huge double story extension, and they are always amazing to work with. Hamid has the knowledge, ideas and energy to get the project rolling, and then his team is skilled, friendly, and professional and get the job done quickly and well. The extension in 2024 was a major renovation on our Auckland 1950s home. Your Builder helped us right from concept through to compliance certificates, and it always felt like they were as concerned about getting the perfect outcome as we were! Our foreman James was onsite daily, and worked closely with us to build our dream home! It was lovely to be so involved with the build, but to have excellent advise for the hundreds of decisions that needed to be made. We lived onsite during the build, and the whole team was very considerate, and went the extra mile to keep the kids and the dog safe at all times. We always had a schedule, and the site was always left as tidy as possible. And the end result- amazing! We have had so many compliments from friends on the quality of the work, how well it fits with the existing build, and all the lovely bespoke features. We wanted to build a family home that felt warm and had character even though it was new, and we are so happy with the outcome, it's everything we could have wanted. I would absolutely recommend Your Builder, and would trust them with any future projects no matter how big or small.

We worked with YourBuilder on a complex project a couple of years back. They took the time to understand what we were trying to achieve and, unlike other builders we met with, actually came up with a plan to move things forward despite considerable uncertainty. While it wasn't always smooth sailing, they were always there when we needed it. James in particular was a standout once the work commenced. I also really appreciated their transparency in sharing supplier invoices, timesheets etc. Can definitely recommend Hamid and the YourBuilder crew.
