We recently had the pleasure of working with Tuit Design & Build for the complete renovation of our property in Hairini. This large project took place over 4months on a three-story house that was stripped out and given a new lease on life. Fahad and his build team did an excellent job, particularly with the replacement decks, balustrades and stairs which turned out beautifully. The design work provided by Kaitlin was incredibly helpful, allowing us to realize our vision for the project. The company is owned and managed by a couple who were fully responsible for overseeing the entire project, including organizing and coordinating all the other tradespeople involved. Their communication skills were overall great, we did experience some breakdowns in communication regarding budget versus spend. However, these issues were resolved satisfactorily. As with any large project, we faced some challenges. For us it was the painters contracted to paint the full exterior and interior of the property, but Kaitlin and Fahad handled these issues without causing us any stress and the painting work got done. Additionally, some plumbing issues arose after the project was completed, but they addressed it and got it fixed promptly. They also allowed us to be as involved when we had time and wanted to, which we really enjoyed, as we were able to do a lot of the initial demo of the old kitchens etc ourselves. They made the whole process very low stress, which helped us enjoy the project overall. We 100% recommend Tuit Design & Build to others and will certainly use them again when we find our next project. Their commitment to quality work and customer satisfaction is evident in the results.

Tuit Design and Build recently completed an 80sqm hardwood (Vitex) deck project on our sloped property in Omokoroa, featuring a complex cantilevered design. They impressed us throughout the process with their expertise, constant communication and updates, and their attention to detail. Key Highlights for us was: Tuit's team demonstrated exceptional skill, ensuring compliance with WBOPDC regulations and safety while achieving our goals of an Entertainers Dream deck. They handled the complexities of our sloped section and executed the cantilever design flawlessly. Every aspect of the project, from the hardwood decking, thousands of screws to bespoke ballustrades, was executed with precision. The finishing along the pillars, downpiped and cladding of the house was exceptional. Tuit met tight deadlines that we set to get our build complete without compromising quality, maintaining regular communication, which we appreciated greatly. They valued our input and concerns, taking into consideration what our vision was for the decking area. Also providing truthfull feedback if some ideas werent practical or wouldnt meet the standards. Their use of top-notch materials ensures durability and longevity they also provided quality control of the decking and sent back some to the suppliers which werent good enough. They also helped us understand maintenance (which decking oils is best suited). Fahad and his team not only met but exceeded our expectations, delivering a stunning, value-adding deck to our forever home. In short, Tuit Design and Build is highly recommended for their ability to handle complex projects efficiently while delivering outstanding results.
